Why it’s useful
For product and dev teams already managing sprints in ClickUp, this turns visual feedback into instant, trackable tasks. With 2-way sync, resolution status stays perfectly aligned—whether it’s updated in ClickUp or BugSmash.
How it works
1. Go to Workspace Settings → Integrations → ClickUp.
2. Click Connect ClickUp Workspace.
3. Authorize BugSmash via OAuth.
4. Inside a project, open Settings → Integrations → ClickUp, and choose:
- Workspace
- Space / Folder
- List (destination)
5. Once connected, collaboration flows both ways:
- Adding a comment in BugSmash creates a task/comment in ClickUp.
- Adding a reply in BugSmash appears instantly in ClickUp.
- Adding a reply in ClickUp syncs back to BugSmash.
- Marking a comment resolved in ClickUp automatically marks it resolved in BugSmash.
Example
> The “Homepage Feedback” project connects to ClickUp List “Sprint 12”.
> When a developer marks a task or comment as Resolved in ClickUp, the same feedback is instantly marked resolved in BugSmash through 2-way sync.
Tips
- Create a dedicated ClickUp list (“BugSmash Feedback”) per project.
- Rely on 2-way sync to avoid duplicate updates or manual status checks between tools.
