Why it’s useful
Slack integration keeps your entire team instantly updated on feedback activity — without switching tools. Every new comment in BugSmash is automatically pushed to your selected Slack channel, keeping designers, developers, and PMs aligned in real time.

How it works
1. Go to Workspace Settings → Integrations in BugSmash.
2. Click Connect on the Slack panel.
3. You’ll be redirected to Slack — select the Slack workspace you want to connect.
4. Click Allow to authorize BugSmash with Slack.
5. You’ll be redirected back to the Integrations page, where Disconnect will now appear (confirming successful setup).

Linking a project to a Slack channel
1. Open the BugSmash project you want to connect.
2. Go to Project Settings → Slack Integration.
3. Click Select Channel and choose the Slack channel for notifications.

What gets sent to Slack
Every new comment posted in BugSmash triggers a Slack notification containing:

1. Comment title
2. Comment message
3. Direct link to the BugSmash comment
4. Attached screenshots or visuals (if any)

⏱️ Sync time: Notifications usually appear within 1–2 minutes.

Example
> A QA member adds “CTA button not clickable on mobile” in BugSmash. Within a minute, the comment appears in #website-feedback, notifying the entire team instantly.

Tips
- Use dedicated channels like #design-feedback or #qa-reviews to reduce noise.
- Connect high-priority projects to team-wide channels for faster visibility.
- Keep Slack notifications enabled during active testing or review phases.
