How it works

  1. Use your BugSmash API key to authenticate requests.

  2. Send your website build, design files, or project data to the BugSmash Get Review Link endpoint from your workflow or client service management tool.

  3. BugSmash creates a project automatically.

  4. A shareable review link is returned instantly via the API response.

  5. Use that link to notify clients, teammates, or QA for feedback and approvals.

Example

> Once a website build or design is ready, it’s uploaded via the team’s client service management tool. At the same time, the BugSmash API is triggered to create a review project and instantly return a shareable link — which is then sent to the client for feedback and approvals.

Tips

  • Trigger uploads when key milestones are reached (website build complete, design handoff, or client-ready release).

  • Store the returned review links alongside tickets, tasks, or project records.

  • Validate uploads with status checks before notifying stakeholders.

  • Rotate API keys periodically for security.
